How to clean a Cyber Acoustics speaker system control pod
When issues arise with your control pod (especially as the years go by) some folks have had luck with cleaning their controllers. However, anytime one takes apart a fragile piece of hardware a risk of further damaging the device exists. The instructions for repairing/cleaning the control pod are below.
What you will need:
Small phillips head screwdriver
can of electronic safe compressed air.
1. Locate screws.
You can try to remove the felt pads under the controller. This will give you access to the screws that hold the controller together.
2. Pull the wheel apart
The volume wheel is hot glued on. If you use a rocking motion you should be able to pull of the wheel.
3. Use the compressed air.
