Conflict-Free Minerals Policy

Cyber Acoustics is aware of concerns that minerals mined in conflict areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries may be making their way into the electronics industry supply chain, and may be fueling human rights violations and environmental degradation.

We strive for a DRC Conflict-Free supply chain by supporting industry-wide efforts to implement due diligence in standards, systems and procedures. In addition to requiring that our suppliers comply with applicable laws, we expect that they source materials from environmentally and socially responsible suppliers and be DRC Conflict-Free.

We want our products to be DRC conflict-free, however, we are concerned by the allegations that metals illegally mined in the Democratic Republic of the Congo may be making their way into the electronics supply chain.  The minerals of interest are: gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W) and tin (Sn).

We believe it is our responsibility to raise awareness on the issue of conflict minerals and encourage accountability in our supply chain until a recognized certification program is in place.

We are committed to the highest standards of integrity and responsibility and requests our supply chain to share this work ethic.  In support of this, we expect your commitment to work in partnership with Cyber Acoustics to ensure that our respective supply chains do not source conflict minerals.
